AVEK's funding has been secured for the next year

The government budget session reached the result we had hoped for. The Finnish Government decided to cancel the threatened cuts and maintain the compensation for private copying at the already established level.

In the government budget session, the Government made the wise decision to maintain the compensation for private copying at the established level of €11 million. This means that the funding for our operations is secured at least for 2022.

The system works well, and we must also take good care of it in the future to ensure predictability and continuity in the industry that has suffered due to the coronavirus.
