AVEK’s support decisions are discretionary, and there is no possibility of appeal.
The applications are processed in accordance with AVEK’s decision-making criteria, and applicants can contact AVEK for justification of the decision. We provide feedback to applicants, where possible. For those types of support where there is a possibility to reapply, applicants can submit a new application as their project progresses.
If an applicant feels that they have been discriminated against or otherwise mistreated during the application process, they can contact the Director of AVEK either through the application system, by email or by telephone.
The Director of AVEK will seek to find a way to resolve the situation together with the applicant. This may also include referring the matter to the AVEK Board of Directors or the CEO of Kopiosto.
In matters relating to the actions of the Director of AVEK, applicants may contact the Chairperson of the AVEK Board of Directors (puheenjohtaja (at) avek.kopiosto.fi) or the CEO of Kopiosto by email.
