Mediarata grant application period from 1 February to 14 March 2023
This year, AVEK’s Mediarata grant will again be awarded to projects promoting the production culture of media art. This time, a total of 173,000 euros will be distributed from the separate funding allocated by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The Ministry of Education and Culture has allocated €200,000 in separate funding for the Mediarata support for this year. The grants are intended for the enhancement of the media art production culture and may be applied for from 1 February to 14 March 2022.
Mediarata grant is a form of financial aid paid out from the Ministry of Education and Culture’s special appropriations to enhance the media art production culture.
The Mediarata grant is open for applications 1 October–7 December 2020
We distribute the Mediarata grant to projects that promote the production culture of media art. The Ministry of Education and Culture has allocated 200,000 euros of separate funding for the grant.
The film production company Elokuvayhtiö Testifilmi is seeking to discover new ways of making cinematic art. We interviewed two of the company’s founders, Mika Taanila and Jussi Eerola.
