Changes to support guidelines: fixed support sums for the film and media art grants
The Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture AVEK support guidelines have changed, and the new guidelines are valid from the beginning of 2021. Read this article for information about the most significant changes.
In March–April, AVEK grants and support were awarded to 29 media art and film projects: support also granted to a documentary project examining the coronavirus outbreak
“Humanity starts to exhibit either unity or even greater selfishness. And nature wakes up to spring and turns to autumn, not caring for the problems of humans,” muses Anu Kuivalainen, the initiator of the Poikkeustila project for which AVEK granted support, on these exceptional times.
AVEK has continuous application periods apart from the Mediarata and the CreaDemo and DigiDemo grants. In addition, in some supports the decisions are only made on certain days.
